The following mandatory units must be completed
302 – Health & Safety
303 – Consultation support for colleagues on hair services
304 – Cut women’s hair
305 – Style and dress hair using a variety of techniques
306 – Colour hair to create a variety of look
308 – Perm hair to create a variety of looks
316 – Creative hairdressing design skills
Along with the mandatory units you must complete 10 credits. These 10 credits can be made up of a number of the following units or one unit.
205 – Promote products and services to clients in the salon – 3 credits
213 – Display stock to promote sales in a salon – 3 credits
215 – Scalp massage services – 4 credits
216 – Salon reception – 3 credits
307 – Human resource management – 7 credits
309 – Hair extensions – 5 credits
310 – Make and style a hair addition – 7 credits
311 – Bridal Hair – 4 credits
410 – Colour correction – 12 credits
City & Guilds Level 3 International Advanced Diploma in Hairdressing
